Title:
MANUFACTURE OF SINTERED FE-CU-P ALLOY MEMBER WITH SLIGHT DIMENSIONAL CHANGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59123739
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a sintered Fe-Cu-P alloy member with a slight dimensional change due to sintering by using Cu-P alloy powder contg. a prescribed percentage of P as a starting material.
CONSTITUTION: Cu-P alloy powder contg. 3.5W7wt% P is mixed with atomized Fe powder. The powdery mixture is molded into a green compact and heated. When the green compact is sintered to form a sintered body, it undergoes a very slight dimensional change due to sintering, and a sintered Fe-Cu-P alloy member contg. practically no carbon is obtd.
