Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make an input of ''0'' of a numeral unnecessary, to discriminate whether an account number inputted by a customer is correct or not, and to instruct a correcting input, by setting the number of digits of the inputted account number to variable length, checking its number of digits, and thereafter, transmitting it to a center computer. CONSTITUTION:A main control part 20 is provided on an automatic paying machine, a customer operating part 21, a card reader part 22, a paper money discharge part 23, a slip issue part 24 and a data storage part 25 are connected to the control part 20, and each part is controlled by the control part 20. Also, a microcomputer 28 which stores transaction information of every account of a customer is connected to the control part 20 through a transmission control part 26 and a telephone circuit 27. By combination of this automatic paying machine and the computer 28, a data which the customer inputs from the operating part 21 is temporarily stored, the number of digits of this temporarily stored input data is set to variable length, its number of digits is checked, and thereafter, it is sent out to the computer 28. Subsequently, an input of ''0'' which is inputted for combination of the number of digits becomes unnecessary, whether an inputted account number is correct or not is discriminated, and a correcting input is instructed.
