PURPOSE: To obtain the titled quality sheet free from wrinkles, cracks, etc., by putting a holed pattern layer on a thermoplastic synthetic resin layer, sintering the laminate while allowing bubbles to escape through the holed sections of the patterned layer, ane embossing the laminate.

CONSTITUTION: After a particulate thermoplastic composition M is formed by a spreader 3 into a resin layer M1, the holed pattern layer 7 comprising a thermoplastic synthetic resin film with a plurality of hole 7a is layered on the resin layer M1. Then the resulting laminate is heated at a temperature higher than the softening temperatures of the resin layer M and the holed pattern layer to be sintered to obtained a sheet. Finally the sheet is embossed by an embossing roll 5 to obtain a plastic sheet 8.

EFFECT: A sheet having a clear and complicated pattern can be readily obtained.
