Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accomplish a durable solenoid valve of a simple structure by turning a valve body with magnetic force for opening and closing operations to eliminate the need of a spring and a valve body stopper in the conventional solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:A coil 2 is wound round the outer periphery of a coil bobbin 1 comprising a cylindrical non-magnetic body, thereby forming magnetic flux passing the interior of the cylinder. One end portion 31 of a valve body 3 inserted in the cylinder comprises a permanent magnet, on the outer periphery of which magnetic poles of different polarity are formed at intervals of 90 deg.. The other end portion of the valve body 3 is provided with a through hole 32 radially piercing the valve body, which communicates with a through hole 52 of a housing 5 at an designated turning angle of the valve body 3. The through hole 32 is substantially aligned with the direction of connecting S-magnetic poles of the valve body 3. Coupling pipes 53, 54 are disposed on the upper and lower opening portions of the through hole 52. The solenoid coil 2 is applied with forward and reverse current alternately, thereby to turn the valve body 3 for opening and closing operations.
