Abstract:
PURPOSE: To rationalize material cost and improve remarkably accuracy of the product by cold forging a ring material formed from a steel round bar to form projected parts instead of blanking a steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: A steel round bar 1 is rounded to an annular body and both ends are butt welded to obtain a ring material 3. The material 3 is contained in the hole of the female die P of a die for cold forging and formed to a desired shape by pressing a male die Q.
