Abstract:

PURPOSE: To mosquito-repellent incense having low irritating smell and low offensive smell, and yet having high vaporization ratio of insecticidal active ingredient, obtained by adding very small ballons to a mosquito-repellent incense.

CONSTITUTION: A mosquito-repellent incense comprising a flame-supporting agent, paste, and an insecticidal active ingredient as main components is blended with 3W40wt%, preferably 5W30wt% very small ballons, to give a mosquito-repellent incense. One or more of very small ballons of inorganic type such as alumina bulb, zirconia bulb, magnesia bulb, glass microballon, silas ballon, fly ash hollow sphere, KANAMAITO, etc. and very small ballons of organic type such as phenol microballon, saran microsphere, EKO sphere EP, EKO sphere VF-O, carbosphere, KUREKA sphere, carbon ballon, etc. The particle size used is preferably 60 meshes or finer.
