Compounds of the formula: wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a (C1-4)alkoxy radical, a (C1-4)alkylthio radical, a halogeno(C1-4)alkyl radical, a (C1-4)alkyl radical or a cycloalkyl-alkoxy-alkoxy radical or two of the adjacent R symbols together form a methylenedioxy or ethylenedioxy radical, R6 represents a hydrogen atom, a (C1-4)alkyl radical, a (C3-6)cycloalkyl radical or a (C3-6)cycloalkyl-(C1-4)alkyl radical, and R7, R8 and R9 each represent a hydrogen atom or a methoxy radical, are new compounds possessing pharmacological properties; they are useful as calcium antagonists and as antihypertensives.
