PURPOSE: To provide the titled device which treats inexpensively, smoothly and safely a blast furnace gas without stopping a blast furnace in the event of stoppage of a power generation installation, etc. by providing bypass pipes between the wet process gas cleaning installation line and dry process dust collector line of the power generation installation using the blast furnace top gas.
CONSTITUTION: Bypass pipes 13, 15 are provided between a wet process gas cleaning installation line consisting of primary Venturi scrubbers 3, 4 and septum valve 5 and a dry process dust collector 7 line of the above-mentioned gas cleaing device of an installation which removes roughly dust from the top gas of a blast furnace 1 with a dust catcher 2, cleans said gas by combination use of the two lines, conducts the cleaned gas to a dry process power generator 8 using the furnace top gas and recovers the pressure and heat energy possessed by said gas. The smooth and safe treatment of the top gas and the feed of the gas to a gas holder are made possible without stopping the furnace 1 and without providing freshly a cooling installation in the event of stoppage of the above-mentioned generator 8, the trouble of the collector 7, etc.
