PURPOSE: The titled water-soluble composition that contains a condensation product obtained by reaction between a specific aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and a specific polyamine, thus showing good oilness effect and improved processability, high accuracy and economy.
CONSTITUTION: The objective water-soluble composition contains a condensation product with an average molecular weight of 500W1,000, which is obtained by reaction of (A) an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid of 6W12 carbon atoms with (B) at least one polyamine selected from (i) compounds of formula I (R1WR4 are H, 1W 3C alkyl; R5 is alkylene of 1W4 carbon atoms), (ii) compounds of formula II (R7 is H, 1W3C alkyl; R6 is 1W4C alkylene), (iii) compounds of formula III (n is 3W 5), and (iv) ethylaminoethanol, 1,2-bis(hydroxyethylamino)ethane, 1,3-diamino-2- propanol, 2-hydroxypropyl-trimethylenetetramine.
