Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS599653
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent desorption of a dye from a silver halide grains, and to improve aging stability, by forming a photosensitive emulsion layer contg. a specified photosensitive emulsion contg. a silver chlorobromide sensitized with a sensitizing dye on a support.

CONSTITUTION: A support is coated with a photosensitive emulsion layer contg. a photosensitive emulsion contg. monodispersed lamination type silver halide grains sensitized with a sensitizing dye to form a silver halide photosensitive material, and it contains silver chlorobromide as silver halide, and 1W80mol% water-soluble bromide based on the silver chloride constituting silver halide grains is contained in the photosensitive emulsion after the completion of chemical aging. As the bromide, cadmium bromide, lithium bromide, sodium bromide, etc. are usable. An amt. of bromide added below 1mol% gives no effect, and that above 80mol% fluctuates photographic characteristics, such as softening of gradient, giving unfavorable effects.
