PURPOSE: To make a metal amorphous at higher efficiency and to obtain the amorphous metal of pulverous powder grains which are uniform and approximately spherical with a process for injecting a molten metal to a high-speed rotating body by specifying the shape of the rotating body.

CONSTITUTION: A vessel-shaped rotating body 1 is formed of a rotating body having a revolving shaft 5 which is the center of revolution. The opening 6 thereof is sealed circumferentially with a sealing member 4 and has a window in the central part thereof. The wall surface 2 of the body 2 is formed of the curved surface which is so shaped as to have the radius (r) of rotation decreasing in the direction farther from the opening 6 along the shaft 5 and has good heat conductivity. The inside surface 3 of the wall is worked to a finely rugged shape to increase the cooling rate when a molten metal is injected. Such body 1 is rotated at a high speed by a motor to form a liquid phase 9 by centrifugal force in the space formed of the surface 2 and the member 4. A molten metal 50 is injected to the surface 8 thereof.
