PURPOSE: To contrive prevention of incomplete contact bonding, by molding preparatively a recessed part corresponding to a main groove on the outside.
CONSTITUTION: Beltlike rubber 3 which has passed through an extrusion molding process is put upon a belt 2 on a BT former 1 by winding the same around the belt 2 and bonded and unified completely b pressure rollers. Processing 5 of a recessed part is applied to a product tire at a position corresponding to a main groove 8 of the product tire by making use of cutting or a molding rollers. A severe flow of rubber at the time of embossing in the inside of a mold is mitigated drastically and a flat cross-sectional shape in a widthward direction of the tire is secured on the belt 2 after vulcanization and curing by performing registration so that the processing 5 of the recessed part is coincident with the main groove 8 of the vulcanized and cured tire at the time of loading in a vulcanizing mold.
