PURPOSE: To obtain a method of manufacture of the primary side of a linear induction motor capable of using a lighter laminated iron core tightening member by making many fitting holes at specific distances in a box-shaped molding frame and winding primary coils around magnetic poles projected on the fitting holes.
CONSTITUTION: A molding frame 1 made of a non-magnetic light material consists of a box-shaped frame having voids 4 surrounded by sidewalls 2 and an upper wall 3 and many fitting holes 5 are made at specific distances in the longitudinal direction in the upper wall 3. The voids 4 of the molding frame 1 densely cover the yokes 11 of a laminated iron core 10 and the laminated iron core 10 is tightened and fastened by fitting the fitting holes 5 on the corresponding magnetic poles 12 and tightly fitting the yokes 11. Coils are wound around the magnetic poles 12 through insulators 7. Therefore, the laminated iron core 10 is tightened with the light molding frame 1, hence a stator lighter than when an iron tightening frame is used is made.
