To provide a toe cap formed of textile layers of continuous strands aligned in specific directions by each layer.
This toe cap is provided with the textile layers formed of the continuous strands of prepreg materials. In a preferred embodiment, the continuous strands of the prepreg materials of the respective textile layers are aligned in the specific directions by each layer. In another preferred embodiment, the strand direction of a first layer orthogonally crosses the strand direction of the second layer. In yet another preferred embodiment, the strand direction of the first layer forms 45° relative to the strand direction of the second layer. In yet still another preferred embodiment, this toe cap is provided with a hybrid layer with a sheet molding compound (SMC) layer besides the textile layers.
