Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily release an opening part, and also to easily house and fix a toeboard into an engine hood.

CONSTITUTION: An opening part is formed on the upper part of the vehicle main body 2 of a forklift 1, and an engine hood 6 and a toeboard 7 are so arranged to block the opening part. The engine hood 6 is so provided as being capable of turning around its base end, and the toeboard 7 is rotatably attached to the tip of the engine hood 6 so as to be housed into the engine hood 6. And a protrusion for fixing the toeboard 7 is provided in the engine hood 6. Accordingly, the engine hood 6 is turned, and the toeboard 7 is turned and housed in the engine hood 6 in its state of opening part released. At this time, the toeboard 7 housed in the engine hood 6 is fixed by the protrusion.
