Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a polyester binder for an electrophotographic toner excellent in fixability at low temp. and plasticizer migration resistance.
CONSTITUTION: A polyester binder for a toner and an electrophotographic toner compsn. using the binder are provided. The binder is made of polyester resin consisting of a polycarboxylic acid component and a polyol component as constituent units and at least part of the polyol component is an alkylene oxide deriv. of a heterocyclic compd. having two or more active hydrogen atoms in each molecule such as an isocyanuric acid-alkylene oxide adduct.
