Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a toner for electrophotographic recording and an electrophotographic recording method using this toner by which color developing (visualizing) of recorded picture images and erasing of the developed picture images can be easily, reversibly, and repeatedly performed.
CONSTITUTION: This toner consists of an electron-releasing color-developing compd. and an electron-accepting compd., and contains a reversible thermally color-developing coloring agent. This coloring agent forms a colored state by heating and fusing, and it forms a color erased state by heating at lower temp. than the color developing temp. A recorded picture image containing this coloring agent is formed on a recording medium with an electrophotographic recording device using this toner.
