Abstract:
To provide a method for producing toner having excellent charging stability, hot offset resistance and low temperature fixability.SOLUTION: A method for producing toner includes flocculating fine resin particles containing a resin composition, obtainable by polymerizing a monomer composition (B0) in the presence of a crystalline vinyl resin (A). The crystalline vinyl resin (A) is a polymer of a monomer composition (A0) containing a monomer (a). The monomer (a) is a C21-40 methacrylate having a chain hydrocarbon group. The monomer composition (B0) contains a styrene monomer of 30 wt.% or more on the basis of the total weight of the monomer composition (B0). The weight ratio of the crystalline vinyl resin (A) and the monomer composition (B0) before reaction, [(A)/(B0)], is 35/65 to 80/20.SELECTED DRAWING: None
