PURPOSE: To obtain a toner recovery container capable of making the most effective use of capacity with simple constitution by providing a photoreceptor drum having a toner carrying port at its end and a partition plate inclined to an inner surface in a specified direction.

CONSTITUTION: When the photoreceptor drum 1 is rotated in a paper carrying direction, a spiral tube 3 is rotated with the rotation of the drum 1. Toner adhering to the surf ace of a cylindrical part 11 is scraped by a cleaning device 2, and drops to the bottom part of the cleaning device 2. When the dropped toner gets into the tube 3, it is gradually carried from one end 3a to the other end 3b along a spiral groove to be discharged to the cylindrical part 11. The discharged toner drops on the partition plate 16 first. When the plate 16 is rotated together with the cylindrical part 11, the toner is carried toward the outside along the plate 16 and begins to be accumulated in the vicinity of the end part 16c first. Thus, the toner is accumulated at the most part of the inside of the drum 1, thereby making the most effective use of the capacity thereof.
