PURPOSE: To provide a tool for installing an air valve on a wheel which can be applied to attaching valves to various wheels, in which wheel fixing auxiliary mechanisms are not required, with which attaching performance can be improved, and which is excellent in general purpose applicability.

CONSTITUTION: In a tool for installing an air valve on a wheel, a push head 4 capable of rotation within a specified angle range is fitted to a forward end part 3a of a handle 3, and a jig main body 6 having a hook part 13 to be engaged with a rim part 20 of the wheel 2 at a middle part 3b of the handle 3 is pivotally supported with its rotation regulated by an O-ring 18. The hook part 13 of the jig main body 6 is hooked on the rim part 20 of the wheel 2, and a base end part 3c of the handle 3 is pushed down, and the air valve is thereby inserted into a valve installation part 21 of the wheel 2 from the underside through the push head 4 to be attached.
