Abstract:
To provide a tool magazine capable of storing a larger number of tools including large diameter tools, without impairing high-speed exchangeability of the tools.
A tool magazine is provided with a first storage part 11 having a plurality of tool retaining parts 16 at fixed intervals and having a conveying means for sequentially conveying the tool retaining parts 16 to a position where tools can be exchanged and a second storage part 2 having a tool retaining part 4 provided independently of the tool retaining part 16 of the first storage part 11. A small-diameter tool T is stored in the tool retaining part 16 of the first storage part 11 and a large-diameter tool T is stored in the tool retaining part 4 of the second storage part 2.
