Abstract:
To provide a tool material for burning which has reduced residual expansion and high thermal impact resistance.
The tool material for burning is obtained by using a raw material in which the total of Ca, Zr and O elements is ≥96% wt.%, the content of CaO is 23 to 33 wt.%, and the main mineral phase composition consists of calcium zirconate, subjecting the raw material to kneading and forming, and performing burning at 1,350 to 1,500°C.
