This tool 11 for peeling the coating layer 32 from the outer circumferential face of the end part of a pipe body 31 as the core material includes a grip 12, an insertion part 17 provided on the grip 12 and inserted between the pipe body 31 and the coating layer 32, and a cutting part 18 provided on the grip 12 to be positioned close to the downstream side of a progressing direction of the insertion part 17 and cutting the coating layer 32.
