Abstract:
To heighten torque detection accuracy in a detection device of a torque applied to a shaft or a steering shaft.
This device has a constitution wherein a first detection gear 11a is engaged with a first main gear 10a and a second detection gear 11b is engaged with a second main gear 10b respectively, and a torsion bar 12 is provided between the first detection gear 11a and the second detection gear 11b. Consequently, when detecting a torque, a processing error of the gear or an error caused by installation does not enter, to thereby heighten the detection accuracy of the sensor.
