Title:
TORQUE DISTRIBUTION DEVICE OF FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3551038
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque distribution device of a four-wheel drive vehicle capable of reliably detecting generation of a tight corner braking phenomenon.
SOLUTION: A turning radius is determined from a wheel speed of inner/outer rings of rear wheels (S14) to judge whether or not a determined turning radius is not more than a turning radius capable of generating a tight corner braking phenomenon (S16). Here, when it is not more than the radius (S16 is Yes), a turning radius is determined from a wheel speed of front/rear wheels (S18) to judge whether or not a difference between a turning radius determined from the inner/outer rings of the rear wheels and a turning radius obtained by the front/rear wheels is large (S20), and when judged that this difference is small (S20 is Yes), transmission torque of a hydraulic clutch is controlled (S24) as the tight corner braking phenomenon is generated.
