Title:
TORQUE FLUCTUATION RESTRAINING DEVICE OF ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61155626
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To releave torque fluctuation of an engine output shaft as well as to charge a battery by constructing a rotor and a stator as a single structure and actuating power generating function and motor function selectively.

CONSTITUTION: When a motor function is actuated, current direction of a coil wound on either of a rotor or a stator is controlled and proper magnetic field for promoting rotation of the rotor is generated. That is, similar constitution to a normal motor is obtained and positive torque is given to a crank shaft 1. When power generation function is actuated, the device works as an AC power generator to convert engine power into electric energy, and the energy is charged in a battery. In this case, inverse torque works on an engine output shaft. Therefore, torque fluctuation of the engine output shaft can be releaved especially in the rage from low rotation to medium rotation of the engine by actuating motor function and power generating function properly.
