Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque transmission device capable of reducing the frictional wear of an agitation shaft for soil improvement or the frictional wear of the roller transmitting a rotary driving force to the agitation shaft and further, capable of securely transmitting the torque to the agitation shaft.
SOLUTION: In the torque transmission device provided with a rotary block passing through a square pillar shaped agitation shaft 10 as a rotary shaft vertically driven along an erected leader, a rotary driving motor rotationally driving the rotary block, and rollers 20 pivoted by the rotary block and rotatably touching relatively in the vertical direction of the agitation shaft 10 along the side faces of the agitation shaft 10, the central part 20A of the peripheral face of the roller 20 bulges outward and the peripheral faces of both sides of the central part 20A of the peripheral face of the roller 20 are tapered faces 20B which touch linearly the side face of the agitation shaft 10.
