To provide a torsion beam type suspension with a collar or a carrier fixed to trailing arms without degrading a fatigue lifetime.
The torsion beam type suspension comprises right and left trailing arms 1 to rotatably support wheels by a carrier 6 with a collar 4 fixed to one end side and oscillatingly supported by a vehicle body and with the carrier 6 fixed to the other end side and rotatably supporting the wheels, and a torsion beam 2 to connect the right and left trailing arms 1. The trailing arms 1 are hollow, and have dissimilar holes 10 and 12 in the carrier 6. The trailing arms 1 are inserted in the dissimilar holes 10 and 12, the trailing arms 1 are expanded from the inner side, and the carrier 6 is caulked and fixed to the trailing arms 1. A dissimilar hole 22 is formed in the trailing arm 1, the collar 4 is inserted in the dissimilar hole 22, the collar 4 is expanded from the inner side, and the collar 4 is caulked and fixed to the trailing arms 1.
