Abstract:
To provide a towpreg excellent in balance of heat resistance and 0° tensile strength availability and capable of improving explosion strength of a pressure container.SOLUTION: A towpreg formed by impregnating an epoxy resin composition that satisfies the conditions (I) and (II), including all of the following components [A] to [C], into a reinforced fiber. [A] bifunctional epoxy resin that is liquid at 25°C, [B] at least one epoxy resin selected from the group consisting of a biphenyl epoxy resin, a biphenyl aralkyl epoxy resin, a dicyclopentadiene epoxy resin and an oxazolidone epoxy resin, [C] dicyandiamide, (I) among total epoxy resin 100 pts.mass, the component [B] is contained by 5 to 40 pts.mass, (II) viscosity at 25°C of the epoxy resin composition is 1 to 150 Pa s.SELECTED DRAWING: None
