Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow stable track accessing by allowing the optical head itself to follow up the motion of the focusing lens in the optical head.
CONSTITUTION: The deviation in the positions between the focusing lens 14 and the optical head 100 is detected by a lens position detector 15 in the optical head. If the magnitude of the detected signal a exceeds a certain range, ±Vs, this excess is detected by a level comparator circuit 30 and the driving current h of an actuator 13 for driving the focusing lens 14 is turned off.
