PURPOSE: To bring the speed of a driven wheel into a rapidly stabilized state when shift operation of an automatic transmission is completed, in a traction control device for a vehicle which is operated to decrease the generation of drive torque of a drive wheel according to the excessive slip tendency of a drive wheel, coupled to a power source through an automatic transmission, detected during the acceleration of a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: Based on the operation state parameter of a power source and the shift characteristics of an automatic transmission shift operation is previewed by a shift preview means 44. The operation state parameter of a power source after shift is predicted by a predicting means 45, based on the operation state parameter of a power source, a value before the shift of the operation state parameter of a vehicle, and a shift position before and after a shift detected by a shift position detecting means 10. Actuators 5, 23DL, and 23DR to change drive torque of a drive wheel are operated by drive torque control parts 46 and 47 to determine a drive torque control amount based on a detecting value before a shift of the operation state parameter of a power source and a value after a predicted shift.
