To provide a steering cylinder for tractor not occupying a packaging space exceeding the cylinder itself and having an adjustable internal steering stop.

End caps 40 and 42 of cylinder between a piston rod 18 and cylinder 16 serve as a stop. The end caps are screwed fast to the cylinder adjustably. The stop is arranged rotatable relative to the cylinder for changing the stroke of steering cylinder by driving the stop into the cylinder or loosening out. Once set in the desired position, the stop is held in the specified position by retainers 48 and 50 attached to the cylinder fast with a bolt. The retainers may be removed from the cylinder selectively and then are used as a wrench for adjusting the cylinder stroke by rotating the stop.
