To prevent the detection error of an optical sensor caused by the suction of punch-out refuse from feeding holes remained on a continuous paper on a paper holder with static electricity and to make the paper holder by cheap materials.

A discontinued plane 15 collecting a smaller protruding part 16 than the diameter of feeding holes of a continuous paper and a recessed part 17 is formed inside of a paper holder 12 attached on a tractor main body 3. When a continuous paper is fed and punch-out refuse is left in the feeding holes, which is separated from the continuous paper, an opening can be secured between the punch-out refuse and the inside of the paper holder 12. That is made by the recessed part 17 on the discontinued plane 15 of the paper holder 12. Accordingly, absorption of the punch-out refuse on the paper holder 12 can be prevented even when the paper holder has static electricity. Therefore, the existence of the continuous paper and the malfunction of feeding condition can be recognized correctly based on the signal from an optical sensor 10. In addition, the paper holder 12 can be produced with cheap materials without considering the preventing measures against static electricity.
