Abstract:
To minutely recognize a section related to a congestion so as to control a traffic light based on the recognized section related to the congestion.SOLUTION: A traffic light control device for controlling a traffic light installed on a road comprises: a processor for identifying point congestion levels each of which indicates a congestion level at each point on the road, determining at least one section which includes at least one of the points and a section congestion level which indicates the congestion level of the section based on the point congestion levels of the respective points, and generating control information to control the traffic light based on the section congestion levels of the respective sections; and a transmission section for transmitting the control information to the traffic light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
