PURPOSE: To facilitate loading and unloading of a transferred article by making an inclined base part at the rear of a deck incline backward and downward through an inclining mechanism with the backward movement of the deck by a moving mechanism, and making the transferred article loadable onto the deck.

CONSTITUTION: When a transferred article W is loaded onto a deck 8 over a chassis frame 2 towed by a running machine (tractor) 1, the operation valve 20 of an hydraulic pump 19 in a moving mechanism is first operated to move the deck 8 backward with a cylinder 24 for movement, and a horizontal base part 9 is moved backward by an engaging rotation effect between a guide roller 30 in an inclining mechanism and a guide frame 28. Besides an inclined base part 10 is moved backward by the rotation effect between a rotating roller 32 and the upper surface of the guide frame 28 to incline the inclined base part 10 backward and downward around a pivot 11 with the backward movement of the inclined base part 10. Then a ground contacting body 35 is made to come into contact with the ground in a backward limit, and a rear plate 15 is made to lie down to make the rear edge come into contact with the ground, whereas the transferred article W is load onto the deck 8.
