PURPOSE: To provide a trailing arm type rear suspension capable of setting low roll height which can be prevented from the tendency of over steering in turning and braking to attain cost reduction without adding an auxiliary link.

CONSTITUTION: In a trailing arm type rear suspension provided with a trailing arm 1, upper arm 6 and lower arm 7, a strut 8 provided with a spring 8b is obliquely disposed so that the upper side is located in the central side of a car body widthwise of a vehicle rather than the lower side, while a position in which the lower end of the strut 8 is supported in the trailing arm 1 is disposed behind the center of a change in toe angle.
