To reduce the number of parts and to attain light weight in a trailing member having a pivot support part pivotally supported on a vehicle body and a wheel suspension part for suspending a wheel and a torsion beam type suspension provided with the trailing member.

The trailing member includes the pivoting support part 111 pivotally supported on the vehicle body; the wheel suspension part 112 for suspending the wheel; a spring support part 113 for supporting a coil spring 93; and a shock mounting part 114 mounted with one end of a shock absorber 94. The pivot support part 11, the wheel suspension part 112, the spring support part 113 and the shock mounting part 114 are integrally molded by a casting made of an aluminum alloy.
