Part of the electric power generated at this time is consumed by a load consumption section 9, the rotary load force is generated by the DC motor 5, the consumption quantity by the load consumption section 9 is adjusted by a load control means 7 to adjust the rotary load force of the DC motor 5, and the training load is adjusted. Part of the remainder of the generated electric power is stored in an electricity storage device 8, and the stored electric power is consumed as the operating power of the kinetic quantity display section 6 and the load control means 7, i.e., the electric power required for the functions of this device.
