Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent materials released from a transaction processing device from taking away by another person, by making an arrangement that the existence of a user at the user operating position is detected by a user detector, and, when no user is detected, the releasing of a material from the transaction processing device is inhibited. CONSTITUTION:On the front vertical surface of a cash paying machine 1, object detectors 22 and 22 are installed at both right and left sides. The object detectors 22 and 22 detect a user standing at a user operating position installed in front of the cash paying machine 1 or riding on a car. The object detectors 22 and 22 detect the existence of a user or a car at the user operating position, namely, a detecting area S in front of the cash paying machine 1, and, only when the existence of a user is recognized, the processing of releasing a bankbook or a card is performed.
