Title:
TRANSCONDUCTANCE ADJUSTMENT CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3953009
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a frequency variable range of a filter being an adjustment object of a transconductance and set its frequency characteristics with high accuracy without the need for increasing a chip occupied area.
SOLUTION: A voltage current conversion circuit 4 converts a difference between a voltage obtained by converting a current ΔI, which is outputted through VI conversion by a voltage current conversion circuit 2, using a resistance Rext, and a voltage V2 into a current, which a current voltage conversion circuit 6 converts into a voltage, which is fed back to the voltage current conversion circuit 2 so as to control the transconductance of the voltage current conversion circuit 2 in a way of making the voltage difference zero. Then a voltage obtained by controlling the transconductance is fed to a bias source of an RC type primary filter 52. Thus, the transconductance adjustment circuit can extend the frequency variable range of the filter being the adjustment object of the transconductance and set its frequency characteristic with high accuracy without the need for increasing the chip occupied area.
