PURPOSE: To obtain a strong adhesive power by providing the subject paper consisting of a pattern layer formed with a printing material with a B stage which is more strongly adhesive to a transfer medium than to a supporting film layer, on the supporting film layer.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer paper consists of a pattern layer 3, a pattern supporting film layer 4, a water-soluble glue 2 and a mold releasing paper 1. A water-soluble glue is dissolved by soaking the transfer paper in water, the pattern layer 3 formed with the pattern supporting film layer 4 in one piece is peeled off the mold releasing paper 1, and the pattern layer 3 is glued to a sheet glass 5' which is a transfer medium. A transfer laminate is dried and cooled at room temperature after a squeegee is slid over the upper surface of the pattern supporting film layer covered by the remaining water-soluble glue layer 2' to remove moisture from an area between the pattern layer 3 and the transfer medium 5 completely. Next the pattern supporting film layer 4 is peeled off and removed, then it is baked and cooled to the room temperature. The pattern supporting film layer 4 is removed with the pattern layer 3 fixed to the transfer medium 5 by using the resin component of the B stage. In this case, the adhesive power applied to the pattern supporting film layer is, for example 0.2g/50mm width, while the adhesive power to the transfer medium is 5g/50mm width.
