Abstract:
To provide a transfer roll capable of sufficiently suppressing occurrence of image deviation or uneven density in an image forming apparatus even when being stored under a high temperature and humidity environment.
The transfer roll includes a conductive core body 1 and an elastic layer 2 disposed on the outer periphery of the core body 1. The core body 1 and the elastic layer 2 are bonded together with interposing an adhesive agent layer 3 partially formed between them. In an optional area of 10 mm10 mm of the bonded surface (a) with the elastic layer 2 disposed, of the outer peripheral surface of the core body 1, the area ratio of the portion where the adhesive agent layer 3 is formed is 30 to 70%.
