To produce a transfer sheet insusceptible to heat and stress at the time of hot press while eliminating the baking/hardening process by forming a metal protective layer of at least ester methacrylate and/or a copolymer of ester methacrylate and an imide.
The transfer sheet has a transfer layer 10 comprising a stripping layer 2, a metal film protective layer 3, a pattern layer 4, a thin metal film layer 5 and a thermal adhesive layer 6 formed on one side of a support sheet 1, wherein the metal film protective layer 3 is formed of a layer of at least ester methacrylate and/or a coplymer of ester methacrylate and an imide. This structure is insusceptible to heat and stress at the time of hot press and eliminates the need of baking/hardening process.
