Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an interruption of torque transmission by connecting the other side coupling while maintaining the connecting condition of one side coupling so as to make into a parallel connecting condition, and releasing the connection of one side coupling after confirming the connection of the other side coupling, in a transmission control of a diesel rolling stock for railroad.
CONSTITUTION: When a clutch 5 is converted when a torque converter 4 is being operated by an operation device 11 through a signal line 19 from a coupling converting instruction unit 10, for example, the power feeding from the coupling converting instruction unit 11 is cut off, and the torque converter 4 is started to convert to operating condition. At the same time, the power is fed to a signal line 20 and the connecting operation of the clutch 5 is started by an operating device 12. At the same time when the power is converted to feed to the signal line 20, the power feeding to a signal line 21 is started, and the power is fed also to a gate 17. While the connection of the clutch 5 is not finished, a signal line 23 maintains the power feeding condition, the gate 17 feeds the power to the torque converter 4 through a signal line 25, and the release of the torque converter 4 is sustained. When the connection of the clutch 5 is completed, the power feeding to the signal line 23 is cut off, and the gate 17 is also closed, so as to release the torque converter 4.
