Title:
TRANSMISSION SYSTEM FOR ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION MODULATION SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3565537
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a transmission system of orthogonal frequency division multiplex modulation(OFDM) to adopt a transmission code configuration by which a code error rate of a transmitted information code is reduced.
SOLUTION: Since the BPSK system is adopted for the modulation system of the transmission system, a 0 frequency carrier (a carrier providing a DC component) of a base band signal to be multiplexed by the OFDM system is not used for transmission of information codes. That is, since the 0 frequency carrier of the base band signal that is affected by the adjustment accuracy of a DC level of a reception circuit and its temperature stability to cause a code error is not used for the transmission of the information code, the code error rate of the entire transmission codes is reduced.
