Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display unit using a scanning projector that can provide an entirely clear image without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A transmissive screen for a scanning projector 200 has a microlens array 201 formed on one face and has a shape of a single lens 202 on the other face. The microlens array formed on an incident surface diffuses incident light in the direction of travel according to an incident angle, and the single lens formed on an emission surface acts to change the direction of travel of the diffused light larger toward the ends, and thereby eliminating the need of an independent lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
