To solve such a problem that a sufficient depth feeling is not obtained in a conventional indicating meter due to a dial which looks planar since dots making up a gradation are arranged only on the display surface side of the dial.
In a transmitted-illumination type indicating meter applying a transmitted illumination to a dial from the backward, which is made up by printing an index on a transmissible substrate, by using a light source, the dial includes: a decoration print layer disposed in an arrangement area of the index disposed along the outer circumference on the surface side of the transmissible substrate; a first light blocking layer disposed on the inner circumference edge side of the decoration print layer so as to be spaced apart from the decoration print layer; a second light blocking layer disposed on a position being on the back side of the transmissible substrate and in the space between the first light blocking layer and the decoration print layer disposed on the transmissible substrate; a light transmission amount adjusting layer which is disposed on the outer circumference side of the second light blocking layer so as to be spaced apart from the second light blocking layer, and includes the inner circumference edge side positioned inside the inner circumference edge side of the decoration print layer; and a dimming print layer disposed so as to overlap on the light transmission amount adjusting layer containing the outer circumference edge part of the second light blocking layer.
