A tin oxide film 2a of 10-40 nm thickness, a silicon dioxide-base metal oxide film 2b of 10-40 nm thickness and a tin oxide-base film 2c of 300-450 nm thickness contg. 0.1-1 wt.% F are laminated on the surface of a glass sheet 1 contg. a glass component comprising 0.1-0.30 wt.% (expressed in terms of Fe2O3) total iron oxide and 0.04-0.06 wt.% Fe in a glass material comprising, by weight, 65-85% SiO2, ≤5% Al2O3, ≤5% B2O3, ≤10% MgO, 5-15% CaO (MgO +CaO=5-15%), 10-18% Na2O and ≤5% K2O (Na2O+K2O=10-20%) to obtain the objective achromatic transparent heat intercepting glass having ≥80% visible light transmittance.
