To provide a transparent hygroscopic composition, a molding and a film, which are excellent in both of the hygroscopicity and the transparency, and to provide a production method capable of easily obtaining the film having such properties.

The molding and the film is obtained by making (A) a transparent polymer and (B) a hygroscopic agent having an average particle diameter of 0.3 μm or below (a nanoporous silica, zeolite, alkaline metal oxide, alkaline earth metal oxide, sulfate, metal halide, perchlorate, etc.) disperse in a solvent to prepare a dispersed solution, then coating the mixed liquid on a base material, and thereafter removing the solvent to mold, wherein (A) the transparent polymer contains (B) the hygroscopic agent having the average particle diameter of 0.3 μm or below and the total light transmittance at 25°C and in the thickness of 0.5 mm is 90% or more.
