Abstract:
To provide a carrier device that can secure large hooking of a claw on a work-piece without lengthening the claw in a height direction, and a machine tool that machines a work-piece carried by the carrier device.SOLUTION: A carrier device 3 comprises: a roller conveyor 60 that supports a work-piece W movably; a movable table 81 that moves in a moving direction of the work-piece W, above the roller conveyor 60; a driving device 72 that moves the movable table 81; a lifting table 86 that moves up and down with respect to the movable table 81; a vertically moving device 85 that moves up and down the lifting table 86; a first claw 90, provided in the lifting table 86, which pinches the work-piece W from one side in the moving direction; a second claw 93 that pinches the work-piece W from the other side in the moving direction; and an adjusting device 92 that moves forward and backward the second claw 93 in the moving direction of the work-piece W according to a length in the moving direction of the work-piece W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
